Veteran actor Mohanlal's mother, Santhakumari Amma, passed away at 90 after a prolonged illness. A pillar of strength for her family, she remained a grounding presence despite her son's superstardom. Mohanlal often credited her unwavering support as instrumental to his career. Her mortal remains are expected to be taken to Thiruvananthapuram for final rites.
